ZENHAEUSERN Ramon(SUI) won chamonix men`s ski world cup slalom

Alpine Ski World Cup Men’s Slalom was held in Chamonix, France. The winner is ZENHAEUSERN Ramon.The first time in two years. It was his 5th win in the World Cup.

Lucas Braathen had appendix out.

Lucas Braathen had appendectomy surgery on February 19th.It takes about 2 weeks. Compete in the alpine skiing world championship is subtle.

The Alpine Ski World Championships 2023 Women’s Combined was held in Meribel, France on February 7th. Mikaela Shiffrin of the United States who finished 3rd in the first super-G. Out of the course on the second run slalom. It was a DNF at the last gate.

The winner was Federica Brignone from Italy.

Akira Sasaki Recorded the same tie-level time as the Alpine skiing Japan national team at the Far East Cup

Round 4 of the Far East Cup Men’s Slalom was held on February 3 at Alpensia Ski Resort in South Korea. The winner is Korea’s Donghyun JUNG. and The Japanese best result was second place for Seigo Kato. Akira Sasaki, who is aiming for his fifth Winter Olympics, is fourth. The time difference with Kato was only 0.33 seconds. Seigo Kato is entry the World Cup GS and SL now.

Akira Sasaki(not japan ski team now)

Akira Sasaki has announced that he will continue to use Salomon equipment next season. He has also secured a spot in the European Cup.

Sasaki has stated that he would like to participate in the World Cup if there are available slots at Schladming, Austria, and Wengen, Switzerland. Currently, he ranks No. 4 among slalom skiers in Japan.
